Dhofar 978

Chondrite (L4) Shock level 2, Weathering level 2

I found the Dhofar 978 meteorite on January 8th, 2004. I found this meteorite just after sunrise. There were two stones, less than one meter apart. The meteorite is very nice inside, with plenty of metal flakes and nice shock veins!

All pieces of this meteorite will include two photos of the specimen in the ground in Oman
