NWA 1906

This meteorite is classified as an extremely rare Rumuruti type chondrite, (R4). It was only the third R4 found! It weighed 560 grams, and has well-defined chondrule outlines with mostly recrystalized matrix and chondrule mesostasis. It is shock level 2 and weathering grade 2. Some pieces show nice breccia, others do not. I bought this meteorite at a very good price in Africa in 2003, so I will offer it here for a very nice price. The color banding in the stone is unlike any other meteorite I have seen.
