NWA 1934This meteorite is classified as a Carbonaceous chondrite (CV3). It was found in Morocco/Algeria in 2003. The total known weight of this meteorite is ~8 kilograms. I bought it all and have over the years sold off much to universities and collectors. Recently scientific study has revealed some interesting features in this meteorite with regard to the CAI's (Calcium Aluminum Inclusions). Some good papers about this should be out in the next few years. The meteorite is very old, only in broken fragments and no trace of fusion crust. The chondrules are oddly smashed usually flattened. There are blue Hibbonite crystals in the CAI's. This is a nice rare carbonaceous chondrite suitable for collectors and scientists.
