TATA

This nice iron was found in Morocco in 2001. It is classified as an Iron, (IIIAB) octahedrite. A single piece was found that weighed 118 kilograms. This meteorite was all sold in complete slices, I bought an extra one and cut it up. These are the only part slices I have seen of this meteorite. Very nice rare desert iron to add to any collection. This iron is chemically similar to the IIE meteorites.
