This is the newest Lunar
meteorite known. It was found in November 2005, and was just
classified. It is a Feldspathic breccia, Lunar Meteorite. It
contains many highlands fine-grained lithologies including
Norite, olivine basalt, subophitic basalt, gabbro, KREEP basalt,
troctolite, granulitic impact melts, and anorthosite. In
addition, the assemblage appears to be further characterized by
large amounts of breccia-within-breccia, at least 4 generations
of brecciation was observed in one, cm-sized breccia clast.
Weathering grade level 1. Main mass Farmer/Strope.
